Most Treasure Valley downtowns ask you to check a calendar before you leave the house. Downtown Caldwell does the opposite. Show up on a Tuesday evening in June, or a Saturday afternoon in September, and something is already happening on the block between Kimball and the creek. That is the argument of this post: if you live in Caldwell, the Plaza has become predictable enough that you can plan around the day of the week, not the date.
That predictability is the story worth telling to anyone who already calls this town home.
